Ah damn, I came to late. I wanted something snappy, seems everything I think of has already been taken.
Still it's a good feature, I just need to come up with something REALLY original ;)

I am from vancouver, canada and i wanted to say that i think Philips did a low down act when it decided to stop suppling medical equipment to Cuba.It shows that the medical equipment produced by philips is done for profit and not to help people.

Sense and Simplicity in design?? wel I think Philips can learn a lot from Apple's product.

There are all stylish, intuitive, logic and user-friendly. those are the things which Philips want but never have manage. Except from some innovation like the ambilight and Natural Motion may be in some advantage.

That's a great point actually, some how there is not a clear relation of the brand promise to philip's product design.

To a certain it is there in the design language, but product configuration such as their digital home theatre system, or DVD systems are very complicated.

Perhaps the branding is not being managed well within the organization. I think it's a difficult task though as its so very big.
