In the light of my recent posting “Hype: New Kids On The Blog” today I’ve checked Adam Richardson’s Blog “richardsona” (Which I highly recommend by the way).
Adam works as a Strategy Director for ‘frog design’ and I must admit that he’s exactly written the kind of response which more or less exactly expresses my opinion about the recent debate instigated by Bruce Nussbaum recently (‘Designers Suck’; no more explanations at this point ;-)
Thanks to Adam for articulating this so well and for pointing to a far more constructive article over at Core77 by Kevin McCullagh.

You write ‘frog design’ in quotes as if it’s distasteful or like you haven’t heard of one of the most prominent design firms in the world.

Brian,
I wrote “frog design’ in simple quotes not because I haven’t heard about frog (I’m actually co-operating with a member of frog design in a design jury), but rather because some of the ‘other’ (aka non-design community) readers of this blog haven’t heard about ‘one of the most prominent design firms in the world’. Unfortunately there still is a business and a design side view on objects these days …
