As some of you might know I’ve entered the Design Management sphere via the management side as I’m not a trained designer. Therefore I highly appreciated the basic insight (provided via my personal gurus) that beside ‘Nature’ itself everything we human beings transform from this is aboriginal state is to be considered as ‘Design or designed’ … let it be ugly or beautiful, smart or stupid, thoughtful or superficial.
Funnily enough from various discussions with managers I’ve learned that very often the insight above forms one of the most powerful arguments for them to invest in design (management). In most cases they see that they’ve already made design investments even though not being aware of it … afterwards they however understand that this investment took a wrong direction ;-)
Today at the Business Innovation Insider Blog, Dominic Basulto posted about a nice ‘designed by nature’ phenomenon discovered via Google Earth. I wonder how Steve Jobs did manage this >>>
