With reference to my posting from yesterday here’s another article from a recent BusinessWeek issue about the trend to instill “Design Thinking” into business education. As written yesterday I didn’t experience the big “Eureka” (see Niti’s posting) yet about where this “hype” is leading to.
While reading the BW article you will meet the common known gang of B- and D-Schools (Stanford, Harvard, IIT/Chicago, Art Center College Pasadena, INSEAD, etc.) each of them applying different approaches and namings to what they deliver.
However interestingly enough many of the areas and issues these schools are addressing are already covered by my circle of “Blog People” (listed in my last posting and in the right hand Link Bar as well) in their according blog(s) as well.
We are creating some good stuff here, aren’t we? What about founding the virtual “Design Thinking Institute”? What could be the agenda?

Ralf;
Count me in :-)
I think there could be some nice perspectives in your idea.
The Agenda? I would love to talk to you about that - maybe we could include a few more people in the discussion as well?
All the best
Hans Henrik

One has to be: The value of design; This seems very important to me, without a reliable way to probe the business value we end with all this logoworks-gate affair ;)

Hi Hans, Hi Arturo,
thanks for your kind feedback! I’m currently sorting out some ways to facilitate the whole thing either by a Wiki or by an open blog. We’ll see!
Please keep commenting and share the news ;-)
Ralf.

There are several Design management Institutes who offers the design Managent Programmes i.e Stanford, IIT chicago, Harward, Kellogs and many more. But most of these schools looks like the management Institues for the Product design.
Could someone give me little more idea bout some more information about the Design Managent institutes and the course offerings.
