I will comment later on this exciting info from the campus news section of the ISEAD (one of europe’s leading business schools) website:
“INSEAD and Art Center, a design college based in Pasadena, California, and one of the world’s leading schools for art and design, have entered into an original partnership. As part of the cooperation, eight students from Art Center, arrived in Fontainebleau at the beginning of January, with Maureen Thurston Chartraw, Adjunct Associate Professor in Design Management. They have now taken part in a range of MBA courses, including Manuel Sosa’s Strategic Product and Service Design elective. This new venture provides an extraordinary opportunity for both INSEAD and Art Center students to share ideas and learn from each other. Art Center students bring the design strategy to a business concept, giving inspiring and creative insights to a project which at first may have only been tackled from a purely business angle.
INSEAD students will now have the chance to go to California in May, when they’ll visit the school and various design studios with which Art Center works. And the initial pilot has been so successful that next year’s programme is being planned already! The connection came about through alumnus Heinrich Baumann (MBA’72).”
